ACTS Year-end Prayer Report

Dear ACTS Prayer Partner,

Joy and I trust you have had a wonderful Christmas Holy-Day Season and we wish you God's richest blessing for the New Year—all year long!

According to a reliable source,* every single day more than 2 million people around the world search the Internet for spiritual hope, meaning and purpose.

The support of God's people enable us to provide life-changing messages, via Daily Encounter and the Internet, to multiplied thousands of people worldwide every day who are searching for spiritual hope, meaning and purpose, and above all, to find and know God.

The best news of all is that up until the end of last month we have received over 2700 decisions for Christ so far this year. We praise God for the incredible means He has given to His people today to reach people all around the world for Christ.

Daily Encounter now has 319,000 worldwide subscribers (an increase of 94,000 this year) which means we are now sending out 82 million Daily Encounter messages a year. As a result, every single day of the year people from around the world are recording a decision for Jesus Christ . . . either for accepting Him as their personal Savior or for making a re-commitment of their life to God.

2009 has been another great year of encouragement so know that your prayer support has been and is a vital part of the ACTS gospel outreach ministry. We trust God will continue to lead you to be an ACTS Prayer Partner for 2010. We ask, too, that you will pray with us that God will bless ACTS outreach much more in 2010 and that we will see at least a 100% increase in decisions for Jesus Christ.

Below are special prayer requests as we end 2009 and prepare for a even greater year of outreach in 2010.

Know that your prayer support is a vital part of the ACTS gospel outreach and is greatly appreciated.

As you stand with us, may God richly bless and reward you in His own abundant way throughout all of the New Year.

Gratefully in Christ,

Dick and Joy Innes

Praise/Prayer Report ... Praise God for the following:

1. For the 2700+ salvation and re-commitment to Jesus Christ decisions from around the world in 2009.

2. For the tremendous growth of Daily Encounter (from 225,000+ to 319,000 subscribers which means we are now sending out 82 million Daily Encounter messages a year.

3. For
the 40,000+ more people who visit our web sites each month and are coming from 194 countries and territories.

4. That we have recovered the 30,000 Daily Encounter subscribers that were blocked by MSN.com/Hotmail.com. Please pray that this won't happen again.

5. That the Christian Law Association (that was suggested by a prayer partner), is now involved in helping us regarding the legal battle where an attorney is accusing ACTS of copyright infringement over a piece of "Bible Study" clipart that we purchased legally from Nova Development that included a license to use. This legal matter has been going on since July. Please pray that this issue will be resolved and that ACTS will be completely cleared of any copyright infringement.

Please also pray for the following:

1. That we will see at least 5,500 decisions for Christ in 2010.

2. That Daily Encounter will increase to 400,000 worldwide subscribers and that a big percentage of these will be non-Christians for we advertise via a secular service to reach the non-church world.

3. That God will provide the needed financial support to continue ACTS aggressive gospel outreach. Owing to the state of the U.S. economy, we lost many supporters this past year and our income is down by 40 percent over 2008. This is a very pressing need.

4. That God will protect us personally and work-wise from all negative and destructive attacks so that the publishing of the gospel will not be hindered by Satan and his evil emissaries, for the enemy hates the publishing of the gospel and message of Jesus Christ.

5. That God will provide a badly needed assistant director, who in time, will be qualified to take over the directorship of ACTS International when it comes time for yours truly to have to slow down and eventually step aside. ACTS ministry has tripled over the past two years and Joy and I are still our only staff. We are kept incredibly busy.
