Dear People Power for Jesus Partner,
People Power is without question a powerful means to accomplish any cause for good or evil—from politics to pornography ... from care for the poor to Christianity ... and anything in between. As Richard Halverson pointed out "People Power" is a mighty force.
People have the power to close down any operation—or prosper it! For example, pornography prevails because enough people want it, buy it, watch it, listen to it, and read it. It is extremely profitable because countless people prosper it!
People Power has also prospered the tobacco industry, the liquor industry, the movie industry, the gambling industry, the abortion industry and hundreds of other products and industries—some of great value, some of little or no value, and some that are destructive of individuals, families, and society.
The People Power principle could also work miracles for reaching millions of people around the world with the saving gospel message of Jesus Christ. As God's people we have the power to prosper or hinder the reaching of people worldwide with the gospel. This is why we believe God has led us to commence this people power for Jesus group and (hopefully, in time a movement) no matter how small we are to begin. However already 1,129 folk have made a commitment to God (not to me) to be a part of this movement.
I want to challenge you to the following actions to help make the People Power for Jesus a powerful movement that, with God’s blessing could, in time, reach untold millions of people worldwide with the gospel.
- First and most important of all: Will you please pray daily that God's Holy Spirit will make the People Power for Jesus a true movement of God—for “unless the Lord builds the house we labor in vain.”
- Second: Will you make a commitment to share the People Power for Jesus movement with your Christian friends with a goal to enlist at least ten others to join with you to reach non-Christian friends and contacts with the gospel. We have printed attractive business size “witness card” to make it very easy to invite friends to visit the “People Power for Jesus” website, consider it’s message, and ask if they would prayerfully consider joining with you in this movement.

- Will you also make a commitment to reach out to at least ten non-Christian contacts over the next ten months and in one way or another ask God to help you to be “as Jesus” to each of these people, pray for their salvation, and ask God to help you to effectively share the gospel with them in an appropriate, attractive way.
