The book, Love Wins, Loses
Dear People Power for Jesus Partner,
With all that is happening in today's world—including the increasing acceptance and approval of gay/homosexual marriage; our government's refusal to enforce DOMA (Defense of Marriage ACT); the Presbyterian Church USA lowering its standard and allowing the ordination of practicing homosexuals for the pastorate; plus the push for a one-world government, a one-world economy, and a one-world religion—all of which, I believe, is helping to accelerate the setting of the stage for end-time events.
You may have heard, too, about Rob Bell's new book, Love Wins: A Book About Heaven, Hell, and the Fate of Every Person Who Ever Lived, which is causing quite a stir in Christian circles. As Rick Marschall of Assist News Service said, "Love Wins by Rob Bell presents the argument that most, or all people, will eventually be redeemed from hell, if there is a hell, because Jesus's death was an atonement for all of creation. One of the author's tenets is that God is so loving, it seems impossible that He would let people go to hell."
And as Chuck Colson said of this book, "Folks, beware. This book is high on the New York Times bestseller list. Books like this are obviously appealing. But that doesn't make them true." Rather than appealing, they are apalling! This book, Love Wins, is a damning lie in that it could damn untold numbers to a lost eternity in hell!
In light of ever increasing heresies, moral decline, and expanding evil in today's world, it is absolutely critical that "we the Church" need to do everything in our power to reach as many people as we possibly can with the saving gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ—the only hope of our sin-sick world. As the Apostle Paul stated God has called us to be ambassadors for Christ, pleading with people to be reconciled with God (See 2 Cor. 5:20).
Never before has it been as possible to reach so many people worldwide with the gospel via the incredible means of communication God has given to today's Church; not only through radio and TV, but also, and especially now, via e-Mail, the Internet, and social networks such as Facebook, etc.
I believe God has given today's Church (including each individual Christian) these incredible means of communication primarily to reach people worldwide with the gospel in preparation for the return of Jesus who said, "When this gospel is preached in all the world, then will the end come." Today, the gospel is speeding to the ends of the earth as never before!
Besides the ACTS websites, one of ACTS most effective means of gospel outreach is via Daily Encounter which now has 399,000+ worldwide subscribers who are receiving a Christian and Gospel message every weekday of the year. As a result, every day we are receiving decision responses for Jesus Christ.
