The Electronic Media—a major means used to enlist terrorists
Dear People Power for Jesus Partner,
A reminder that according to the director of ACT for America, Brigitte Gabriel, “One of the principal reasons why today’s [continuing] threat of ‘Islamo-fascism’ is so explosive is due to the unprecedented power of global communication. Never before in history have militant Muslims bent on jihad had the ability to recruit, radicalize, and train on the scale they can today. The jihadists understand that the Internet is their door to the entire world and they are actively using it” to the fullest possible extent.
Furthermore, jihadists have almost unlimited financial backing to do this. What they are doing today would not have been possible 20 years ago.
Here in ACTS we, too, are using the Internet, e-Mail, and now Twitter and Facebook—to the fullest extent of our ability—on an extremely limited budget.
Every weekday of the year we are now sending e-Mail Daily Encounter messages to 351,000+ worldwide subscribers (that’s almost tripled in the past two-and-a-half years). This means that this year we will be sending out over 90 million Encounter messages! All without charge!
In addition, we are reaching thousands more daily via our websites and our aggressive advertising. Every month we have visitors to our web pages from 194 countries and territories. This type of outreach, too, would not have been possible 20 years ago!
What is even more exciting is that every day of the year we are seeing salvation and re-commitment to Christ responses from around the world. To date this year 2378 of these decisions for Christ have come from 107 countries that we are aware of.
So as People Power for Jesus Partners we strongly encourage you to also take advantage of e-Mail, the Internet, Facebook and other social networks—which form the greatest communications revolution since the invention of movable type—and undoubtedly one of the greatest means of communication ever in the history of the world.
More exciting news in that Jesus said "when this gospel is preached in all the world, then would the end come (Matthew 24:14)." That is, that's when Jesus would return to earth. I sincerely believe that God has given today's Church and Christians these incredible means of communication to spread the gospel around the world in preparation for Christ's return.
We can be equally certain that when the Antichrist appears, he will also use these modern means of communication to spread his evil message around the world and to control the world. The technology for him to do this is already available.
So right now we Christians need to do everything in our power to reach everyone in the world with the gospel.
To help you reach as many people as possible with the gospel of Jesus Christ we have set up the following web page for this purpose. Click HERE for this website. You will find that these helps are very effective, attractive, and incredibly simple to use via your e-Mail.
As there are now 2,510 people who have signed up to be People Power for Jesus Partners, imagine the impact for Christ and His Kingdom if each Partner will forward a suitable Daily Encounter and/or web article to say just 10 people each month, that would mean a minimum of 25,100 more people would receive the gospel and/or a helpful Christian message every month.
