document.writeln("<p class=\"myparagraph\" align=\"left\">O<span class=\"body\">ne </span><span class=\"body\"> mid-morning last week, Joy and I had a most puzzling  experience. We were standing in my office at home when, suddenly&#8212;and seemingly  out of nowhere&#8212;was this very loud, clear-as-crystal trumpet blast. It was &#8220;Reveille,&#8221;  the well-known military bugle call: &#8220;You&#8217;ve got to get up; you&#8217;ve got to get  up; you&#8217;ve got to get up in the morning!&#8221; </span></p>");

document.writeln("<p class=\"body\">                A few minutes later the same trumpet call sounded again. Three  times it sounded. I thought it  was coming from my office. The second time, Joy thought it was coming from her  office. The third time we were standing in the hall and it sounded as if it  were coming from somewhere in  the hall. We felt like we were in the middle of surround-sound without the  vaguest idea from where the trumpet blast was coming.  </p>");

document.writeln("<p class=\"body\">We live close to Camp Pendleton Marine Base and wondered  if it came from there. We noticed through our window that our neighbor across  the street was in his front yard at this time, so we asked if he heard the trumpet  call. He didn&#8217;t, so we concluded that the calls didn&#8217;t come from Camp Pendleton.  Had they done so, it wouldn&#8217;t have been in mid-morning! &nbsp;Half joking and half serious, I said to Joy, &#8220;This  isn&#8217;t God&#8217;s trumpet call announcing the return of Jesus, is it?&#8221; We waited &#8230; but  nothing more happened. </p>");

document.writeln("<p class=\"headings2\" align=\"center\"><span class=\"headings4\"><img src=\"http://www.actsweb.org/Images/quote-left.gif\" alt=\"\" height=\"19\" width=\"20\"></span>It&#8217;s time to get up; it&#8217;s time to <br>");

document.writeln("<p class=\"body\">Interesting, too, that Joy and I both heard these trumpet  calls. We were equally puzzled. Regardless, they are indeed a graphic reminder that  sooner or later, just as suddenly, God&#8217;s promised clear-as-crystal trumpet will  sound with the call: <em>&#8220;It&#8217;s time to get  up; it&#8217;s time to get up; Jesus has come; it&#8217;s time to get up and go with him to  Heaven!&#8221;</em></p>");

document.writeln("<p class=\"body\">As God&#8217;s Word promised, in his writing about Christ&#8217;s return the  Apostle Paul stated, &#8220;Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall  not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a  moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for <span class=\"headings7\">the trumpet shall sound</span>, and the dead [believers in Jesus] shall be  raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.<sup>1</sup> </p>");

document.writeln("<p class=\"body\">Furthermore, Jesus Himself promised his  followers: &#8220;Let not your heart be troubled;  you believe in God, believe also in Me. <span id=\"en-NKJV-26671\">In My Father&#8217;s house [Heaven] are many  mansions; if <em>it were</em> not <em>so,</em> I would have told you. I go to prepare a place  for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you,<em> <strong>I will come again</strong></em> and receive  you to Myself; that where I am, <em>there</em> you may be also.&#8221;<sup>2</sup> See  also What God&#8217;s Word has to say about Christians who have already died at the  time of God&#8217;s trumpet call.<sup>3</sup></span></p>");

document.writeln("<p class=\"body\">Of this we can be absolutely certain&#8212;like the trumpet  call Joy and I heard&#8212;when it is least expected, God&#8217;s trumpet call will sound.  If it were today, would you hear it? Would you be ready to get up and go with  Jesus? We will either go with Jesus, or we will be left behind&#8212;the latter of  which is an extremely sobering thought. </p><p class=\"body\" align=\"right\">Continued on Page 2 <br></p>");

document.writeln("<p class=\"body\">This, too, is the message of Easter. Year after year,  with tireless and unceasing regularity, Good Friday reminds us of God&#8217;s profound  love gift to mankind; that is, the giving of His Son, Jesus, to die on a cruel  Roman Cross 2,000 years ago to pay the penalty for all your sins and mine. This  was so we could be freely and fully forgiven by God and thus qualified to go to  Heaven with Jesus when God&#8217;s reveille trumpet call sounds, or when our life on  earth is concluded&#8212;whichever comes first. </p>");

document.writeln("<p class=\"body\">And Easter Sunday morning when Jesus rose from the grave is  another graphic reminder that this same Jesus, who died in your place and mine,  will return to earth to take all His true followers to be with Him in Heaven  for all eternity.</p>");

document.writeln("<p class=\"body\">Some time ago the well-known preacher, Dwight Moody, was  preaching in a big circus tent in Chicago on the biblical text, &#8220;The Son of Man  [Jesus] is come to seek and to save the lost.&#8221; After he had finished, a little  boy was brought to the platform by an officer who had found the child wandering  in the crowd, lost. Mr. Moody took him in his arms and asked the crowd to look  at the lost child. He said, &#8220;The father is more anxious to find the boy than  the boy is to be found. It is just so with our Heavenly Father, for long years  He has been following you, oh sinner. He is following you still!&#8221;</p>");

document.writeln("<p class=\"body\">At that moment a man with a blanched face elbowed his way  to the platform. The boy saw him and, running, threw himself into his father&#8217;s  outstretched arms. The crowd that witnessed the scene broke into a mighty  cheer. &#8220;Thus,&#8221; cried Mr. Moody, &#8220;will God receive you if you will only run to  Him today.&#8221;<sup>4</sup></p>");

The choice is yours and, as William James said, &#8220;When you have to  make a choice and don&#8217;t make it, that is in itself a choice.&#8221;</p>");
